Description of real property:
Plot 1 – Comprises an oval-shaped stadium with a typical embankment construction and a heated field.
There are 4000 seats in the stand – 3000 in the main sector, 500 in the family sector and 500 for the visitors. The stadium is equipped with a modern 1840 lx lighting system.
Plot 2 – comprises a 100m x 55m football pitch with artificial grass and full-size goals surrounded with a 250 m concrete fence and two 100 m x 60 m gravel covered pitches with full size goals. There are garages to the west and the premises of Bobrek Centrum Coal Mine to the south of the plot.
Plot 3 – Currently a dumping ground for mining waste. Access to the plot from Piłkarska Street.
Area destination:
Plot 1 –The valid local spatial development plan for Bytom city centre (The Revitalisation and Development Plan ) provides for the modernization and redevelopment of the sports facilities and their buildings in order to upgrade their standards (lighting systems, seats, rest and refreshment rooms etc.) and to facilitate the creation of additional sports functions and hotel and catering services.
Functions of the facility:
Public utility with its basic function as a sports facility with additional functions as an administration building or a media centre.
Plots 2 and 3 – No local spatial development plan for the areas so a separate decision on the conditions of site development must be obtained.
Available utilities:
Plots 1 and 2 – Power supply, water supply, sewage, heating and telecommunication systems within the plots.
Form of property transfer:
Stipulated in the Memorandum for entities interested in participating in the project entitled: “The Modernization of The Municipal Stadium Based on the Partnership between Public and Private Entities.”
Additional information:
Plots 1, 2, 3 – Plots located within a mining area.
Plots 2 and 3 – Under the City Council resolution, there is no local spatial development plan for mining areas. The resolution provides for issuing a separate decision on the conditions of the site development.
Plot 3 – Works are being conducted on the plot to eliminate fires on the mining waste dump and to enable the revitalization of the area. The works are planned to be concluded by 31 December 2012.
